Hossa Scores 500th Goal

Yesterday night Marian Hossa of the Chicago Blackhawks reached a phenomenal milestone by scoring his 500th goal during the Blackhawks tumultuous 7-4 victory over the Flyers. Hossa is the 43rd player in NHL to reach this milestone, and the 5th Blackhawks (Bobby Hull, Michel Goulet, Stan Mikita, and Peter Bondra preceded him). Going into this season Hossa has faced a lot of questions related to his age, and his drop in offensive production this year; and passing this milestone will hopefully give him the boost that he needs to have a successful season on both ends of the ice.
